FAQ

  • Why should I choose Bloomed Gallery to preserve my florals?

We are a boutique floral preservation studio that serves a limited number of clients per month. This allows us to provide all our clients a positive and tailored experience, and ensure quality craftsmanship.

Our studio also offers a fresh take on modern floral preservation by carefully designing florals on quality artist’s canvas, and framing in our signature acrylic glass frames - providing an overall light, airy, and luxury essence to your masterpiece.

  • What flowers can you preserve?

Most flowers can be preserved with minimal changes from their original form. However, there are types that are more susceptible to changes in color, shape, and size. For example, white florals tend to experience more yellowing / browning. Tropical florals like orchids, calla lilies, and monstera leaves are also challenging and will experience significant variance from their original form.

Some of our favorite flowers to preserve are roses, ranunculus, carnations, delphiniums, baby’s breath and most greenery.

  • How long does the process take?

Our current turnaround time is 2-3 months as there are many steps within the floral preservation process that require time and attention to details. While our studio uses both traditional and modern techniques to preserve your florals to achieve the best results possible, we prioritize intentionality and quality over speed.

  • How soon do I need to get my flowers to you?

When preserving florals, fresh is best. We recommend your flowers arrive to us in good condition within 2-3 days of the event. Planning ahead of the event and reserving your preservation with us in advance is a great way to ensure your flowers are taken care of and are delivered to us in the best possible conditions.

  • Do you provide color correction?

Like most organic things in life, preserved florals will experience some change over time. Currently, we do not provide color correction as a standard service in our preserved floral artwork. We love honoring the natural beauty of florals, and how they change over time. However, if there are major elements of your art piece that are susceptible to change or browning regardless of the preservation method used, then we can discuss this option further.

  • How long will my floral art piece last?

When taken care of, your preserved floral masterpiece should last a lifetime! Change and fading may occur over time, however, preserved florals are known to be resilient when properly cared for. Make sure to keep your floral art piece away from direct sunlight, away from locations that experience drastic temperature changes, and away from moisture rich locations such as kitchen and bathroom.

  • How do I get my flowers to you?

There are two options to ensure your flowers get to our studio quickly and safely.

Drop off at our studio. Our studio is based in Puyallup, WA. We have designated times of availability each week for in person floral drop offs. Please indicate this option in your inquiry and we will provide further details.

Ship to our studio. We recommend overnight shipping your flowers to our Puyallup studio to ensure freshness. We will provide you packing and shipping instructions upon reserving your floral preservation with us. We must receive your flowers within 2-3 days of your event. Please visit your courier’s cost calculator to estimate your floral’s shipping costs. Our ZIP code is 98371.

  • Do you accept florals from international locations?

Due to the delicate nature of florals, the need for timely delivery of your florals to our studio, and the fragility of return shipping your final art piece to you, we only accept flowers from the continental U.S. at this time (excludes Hawaii and Alaska).

  • Do you offer payment plans?

We believe in making art more accessible. We’re excited to offer clients interest-free payment plans upon request.

We look forward to serving you!
